Premium wines and personalized service in the heart of Los Olivos

Taste of Santa Rita Hills is a small, quaint tasting room in the heart of Los Olivos – just a few doors north of the landmark flagpole. We are a husband-and-wife team (no staff) who are passionate about the wines we pour, the diversity of this region, and the winemakers who we have gotten to know on a more personal level. Because of this camaraderie, we are able to tell their stories and educate you about the vineyards, the micro-climates and the production behind each bottle. We hope you leave our tasting room with a better understanding of how truly unique the Sta. Rita Hills wine region is, and above all, the fantastic wines these handful of producers are able to craft here.

You have the option of indoor or outdoor seating on our side-walk-facing patio. When the temperature dips, we’ll light up the indoor fireplace for a cozy retreat. Sorry we don’t have food, but we do provide pre-packaged breadsticks to cleanse your palate between sips.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are highly recommended especially on weekends or for large parties. Plan on tasting with us for approximately 1 hour so that we can educate you about the micro-climates, soil types and winemakers that have made the Sta. Rita Hills so unique.

  • Our alcoholic beverage license does not allow for minors under 21 years of age.

  • We are dog-friendly if your dog is friendly. Please keep them on a leash.
