About the event

For more than 20 years, Matt Dees has focused his winemaking expertise in the Sta. Rita Hills. With Mail Road, he produces incredibly complex and age-worthy wines from the Mt. Carmel vineyard in the heart of the AVA. This vineyard is uniquely influenced by its elevation of 800-1000 feet above sea level and soil composition (primarily botella clay, limestone, diatomaceous earth, sandy loam). At approximately 23 acres, this limited production of single-vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sparkling wine have consistently garnered the acclaim of wine critics. Find out why Billy Norris of Vinous calls Mt. Carmel "Chardonnay heaven" and Jeb Dunnuck refers to the "grand-cru level quality" in the Pinot Noir.

Join Matt on November 14 to taste through the latest releases and library vintages of Mail Road Wines, and learn about the farming and winemaking techniques that make this wine and the Sta. Rita Hills so unique.

Click through to reserve your seat at either 12 pm or 2 pm. A $50 fee is required to hold your seat, which can be applied to $350+ bottle purchases at the event.
