What the Santa Rita Hills AVA lacks in size, it more than makes up for in quality. Wine growing dates back just over 50 years here, but in the last 20 it has grown into one of the most sought-after Pinot Noir and Chardonnay-producing AVAs in the world. Our marine-influenced micro-climate and soils rich in diatomaceous earth yield complex and age-worthy wines with incredible aromatics and texture.

The Taste of Santa Rita Hills has been handpicking some of the finest expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to share with it's customers since 2010. A bit of entrepreneurialism and a dash of luck 13 years ago turned a love of fine wines into one of the best tasting experiences in the valley for connoisseurs and curious tasters alike.
What we offer is simple: access to exceptional wines and notable producers. As we've discovered and fostered the region's best winemakers over the years, so to has our access to their portfolios, making us one of the largest distributors of wines from regional stars such as Sea Smoke, Paul Lato, Walt, Mail Road, Walson Holland, The Hilt and so many more.

And like you, we are ravenous fans of the wines from the Sta Rita Hills. After travelling the world in search of great bottles and working for fine and rare wine retailers, we purchased 'Taste' and Moretti Wines from our friends so that we can share our passion for the region with you. The subtle variations in soil that differentiate the Santa Rosa, Santa Rita and Purisima Hills all contribute to incredibly nuanced and site-specific wines, wines that rival the world's best.
